NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of members of Proactive Agricultural Safety & Support Inc will be held at the Toosey Hospital Community Centre, on Wednesday, 12 November 2008, commencing at 7pm to vote on the following word changes to our Constitution - Part 22(2); Part 23(1)(b) and Part 23(2):
Current Part 22(2):
22. Officers of the Association
(2) Each officer of the Association is to hold office until the annual general meeting next after the date of election, and is eligible for re-election.
Proposed Part 22(2)(a) & (b):
22. Officers of the Association
(2) Each officer of the Association is to hold office for two (2) years.
(a)Of the Inaugural Committee, the President and Treasurer to hold office for three (3) years and then be eligible for re-election.
(b)The positions of Vice President and Secretary to be eligible for re-election in the alternate year.
Current Part 23(1)(b) and Part 23(2):
23. Constitution of the committee
(1) The committee consists of the following members elected at the annual general meeting of the Association in each year:
(a) The officers of the Association;
(b) Three other members.
(2) An ordinary committee member is to hold office until the annual general meeting next after the date of election, and is eligible for re-election.
Proposed Part 23(1)(b) and Part 23(2):
23. Constitution of the committee
(1) The committee consists of the following members elected at the annual general meeting of the Association in each year:
(a) The officers of the Association;
(b) Three or up to five members.
(2) An ordinary committee member is to hold office for two years. Of the Inaugural Committee half the members will be elected for one year and half will be elected for two years and each are eligible for re-election.
