FARM SAFETY WORKSHOP - CRESSY
Farmers who participated in the Farm Safety Workshop at Cressy on 8th May are now in the throes of dividing in to pairs and visiting each other’s work areas, utilising the “fresh new eyes” approach. In this way they will be able to offer, and gain, suggestions and ideas of ways to improve the safety of their work place.
Farmers have found these workshops to be a valuable way of increasing awareness of safety issues in their work place - learning what can be done and how to do it one step at a time - and carried out in a non threatening environment.
Following these “self audits” the group will reconvene on Tuesday 1st July to discuss the findings, changes made and share tips and tricks, and any ideas for future plans.
